In close quarters, one becomes acutely aware of detail and how the senses are evoked. In this off-grid shack for Mr. Thumb and his black lab, the sound of wood hissing and popping in the fireplace on a cold winter's night is essential. Made of Norway Pine logs shaped and placed in Norwegian tradition, this 1,000 SF lakeside cabin with loft is a true getaway.
